Office Bathroom Renovation That Is Minty Fresh

A good bathroom anchors an office. Even more when it is a first impression, visible from our entryway. Why not make it an office bathroom renovation that is minty fresh?

The Room

This bathroom was already an eye-pleasing room, upping the detail and durability was a driving factor. In addition to giving clients ideas for their projects. Something was needed to spruce it up and there was ample time to decide as this was completed in two stages. Rightfully so, our company projects always take a backseat to clients projects. The end result is a custom blend of timeless minty and natural tones that carry consistency throughout the building.

A matte mint fireclay tile lines one entire wall and was purchased locally by Hamilton’s Tile. This specific tile looks old-world in a modern way, flaunting green and cream hues that give the room its pop. Custom wainscotting on opposite walls compliment in colour and show dimension in a muted manner with a traditional profile and deep multi-point bevel edging. The wainscotting paint color is Saybrook Sage by Benjamin Moore. The wood windows here are made by Marvin purchased locally from Ultimate Windows & Doors and have black wood both on the inside and out.

Adding warmth is the Emtek vanity hardware, doorknob and Schoolhouse Electric wall sconce. A custom made white oak bathroom vanity is anchored by furniture legs with a quartz countertop from Select Kitchens. A vessel sink is placed on top with a matte brass Kohler trough-style tap. A bold pattern floor tile smoothes out any visuals between the cool tones with its deep rust hues. Also tying into the 1850 era of the heritage building with an ornate flair. As the building was a former gardeners’ cottage on the Robertson Estate in Rothesay, New Brunswick.

FInishing Touches

In small spaces, everything must count making this a professional yet personal part of our office. It seemed fitting adding pieces of art. Each chosen to equip the uniqueness and friendliness of its area wether it be thrifted or new, and all locally framed by Framing Factory. We may incorporate a bold paint color above the wainscotting and we may not. That is a topic for another day.
