Joyfully Warm Rothesay Renovation

This joyfully warm Rothesay renovation is a perfect example of how we merry our full service business: by offering turnkey, renovated spaces to newly purchased homes. We sold our clients’ home and they needed a spot to go to. And not just any spot, but something that had a uniqueness to it, a warmth to it and a place they could pursue their outdoor enthusiast lifestyle (hike, walk, climb, golf, bike, run, kayak - they do it all). This home caught their eye, in fact it catches everyone’s eyes as it’s the type of home you always recognize.

Before our clients’ moved-in, they wanted to add their personality to it. Starting with the kitchen, dining room, living rooms (there are two), bathrooms (there are three), bedrooms and two exterior doors. Sticking with the kitchen, the original lay-out was tight almost too galley-like for how much space was readily available. The kitchen was demo-ed and re-created from the studs up. New glossy Canadian custom-made thermofoil cabinetry capped in a walnut finish, quartz countertops, clean subway tile with the space anchored by black metal lighting. That wood burning fireplace and brick hearth open to the kitchen area are original and further emphasize the warm elements that came attached to the home.

Also down to the studs: all 3 bathrooms. New tiled floors, in-floor heating, floating vanities, soaker tub, tiled showers, lighting, were all added. White oak hardwood floors, paint, interior doors with hardware, trim, baseboards were all carried throughout the home for consistency.

The second main level living area didn’t need much – a coat of paint to show-off the high v-channel tongue and groove ceiling to highlight the cozy wood tone. In this sun-infused area, check-out their SECOND fireplace and hearth. The robust wood mantle is also original and also awesome. A new front exterior door for that first impression and sliding patio door out to the deck area were also included in this Rothesay renovation.

The timeframe on this renovation was 3 months from start to completion.

Are the clients’ happy with their new home and renovated space? You can ask them and then take a look at how they’ve personalized their home – joyfully, comfortably and with a level of ease
