Categories

The Process

The process of this bathroom renovation started from a freshly manicured base, placed inside a 1941 character home. Set for a facelift, with the power of simplicity in design kept in mind. Not to compromise the Rothesay famous river view, the original back wall window was kept in place. Guaranteeing day-long ample light and sunset rays that dwell into the evening.

Colour, scale, pattern and composition. All thought-through elements that highlight the importance of quality that went into this space. Each element strives to be simple yet powerful. From the Emco vanity, gold toned lighting fixtures & mirrors adding warmth and black shower hardware & grout bringing depth.

Custom Elements

This bathrooms unique original angles blend with its newly added custom elements. A built-in towel nook and linen cabinet is evidence of this. Showcasing Vantage Builds attention to detail and craftsmanship: a 3-wall subway tiled shower with sliding glass door, built-in shampoo niche, marble hexagon tile floor and shiplap all around. While a towel warmer and in-floor heat add a touch of necessary luxury with winter being 6 months of the year. Also, an added layer of comfort for the current snowy winter season.

Beautiful design isn’t just pleasant to look at. Behind its lines is the symbolism of hard work, that was thrown into making this space the best it could possibly be. Meanwhile improving the quality of routine for those who occupy it. Overall, this fully renovated bathroom simply put, is a showpiece of a new layout in an older home.
